Big Window 3100 Restomod — 350 V8, Driver Quality, Needs Finishing
OVERALL CONDITION: The two-tone blue and white paint is a repaint from 4 years ago — it looks good at a distance but has issues. There's orange peel on the doors and a 3-inch run on the passenger-side fender. The clear coat is starting to lift on the roof. The body is straight with good panel fit. The big rear window is the signature feature and is in good shape — no cracks, no leaks. Chrome is presentable — the front bumper is clean but the rear bumper has pitting. Glass is clear all around. 18/20-inch wheels give the truck a modern stance. Interior is custom: tan leather seats from a late-model truck, custom door panels, and a Dakota Digital gauge cluster. The head unit has Bluetooth. The air conditioning works. The interior is clean and functional but the headliner is starting to sag. The steering column is a tilt unit from a late-model. ENGINE: 350 CI V8 rated at 350 HP — a crate engine with 1,500 miles. It starts instantly and idles at 800 RPM — smooth and quiet for a 350. No smoke, no leaks. The carburetor is an Edelbrock 600 that runs clean. The engine has good power — it moves the truck with authority. Compression is 175+ psi across all cylinders — like new. The cooling system runs at 185°F with an aluminum radiator. The exhaust is a dual system with FlowMaster mufflers — sounds good. This is a new, reliable engine.
TRANSMISSION: 4-speed automatic (700R4). Shifts are smooth through all gears. The overdrive 4th gear makes highway driving comfortable — 70 MPH at 2,000 RPM. No slippage, no harshness. The transmission is in good shape.
BRAKES: Power disc brakes front and rear — modern upgrade. The pedal is firm and the brakes are strong. Pad life is 80%. The system is new and works perfectly. Parking brake works.

Test Drive Experience
The 350 crate engine fires up instantly — no fuss, no warm-up needed. The idle is smooth and quiet — this is a reliable, modern engine in a classic truck. The 700R4 shifts into Drive and the truck rolls out smoothly.
The 350 has plenty of power — the truck moves with authority and doesn't struggle. The late-model front clip transforms the driving experience — the rack-and-pinion steering is light and precise, and the truck tracks straight. The disc brakes are excellent — modern stopping power.
The air conditioning blows cold. At 70 MPH, the overdrive 4th gear puts the engine at 2,000 RPM — the truck is smooth and comfortable on the highway. The ride is firm but not harsh.
The big rear window gives a great view — it's the signature feature of this truck. After 40 minutes, the temp held at 185°F. This is a nice driver-quality restomod — not a show truck but a reliable, comfortable, and fun classic truck you can actually use.
