OVERALL CONDITION: Hammerhead Gray paint is a high-quality custom paint job — deep and glossy. Minor chip on the driver's door edge and a small scratch on the tailgate. The body is straight with excellent panel fit — this truck has had a proper body restoration. The bed has been refinished with a wood plank kit — beautiful. All glass is clear and clean. The stance is right — it sits level on 19/20-inch wheels. Interior is red leather — custom and beautifully done. The seats are from a late-model Silverado and are heated and comfortable. The door panels have been custom-upholstered to match. The dash has been modified with a custom gauge cluster — Dakota Digital. The head unit has Bluetooth and backup camera. ENGINE: LS3 6.2L V8 with a supercharger — estimated 500+ HP. The engine has 1,792 miles since the build. It starts instantly — LS reliability. Idles smooth at 800 RPM. The supercharger is quieter than the Procharger on the 6.0 — more refined. No smoke, no leaks. The EFI is tuned perfectly — smooth power delivery, no hiccups. Compression is 185+ psi across all cylinders. The cooling system runs at 185°F with a large aluminum radiator. The exhaust is a dual system with MagnaFlow mufflers — the sound is deep and refined. This engine is essentially new.
TRANSMISSION: 4-speed automatic (4L70E). Shifts are smooth and firm. Full-throttle shifts are positive. The 4-speed gives a good highway RPM — 70 MPH at 2,100 RPM. No slippage. The transmission is in excellent condition.
BRAKES: Power disc brakes front and rear with large rotors — modern braking. The pedal is firm and the brakes are excellent. The system is new. Parking brake works.
UNDERCARRIAGE: Frame is fully painted and clean — no rust. Floor pans are solid and painted. Front suspension has been rebuilt with a late-model clip — modern handling. Test Drive Experience
The LS3 fires up instantly — the supercharger is subtle at idle, just a hint of whine. The 4-speed automatic shifts into Drive smoothly and the truck rolls out effortlessly. This is a refined build — the power delivery is smooth and linear, with the supercharger adding a constant, broad wave of torque.
When you floor it, the truck accelerates hard — the LS3 has serious power and the 4-link keeps the rear end planted. The modern front clip transforms the handling — this truck corners flat and tracks straight. The rack-and-pinion steering is light and precise.
The disc brakes are excellent — modern stopping power. The air conditioning blows cold. The ride is firm but comfortable — the 4-link and modern suspension absorb bumps well.
At 70 MPH, the engine is at 2,100 RPM and the truck is smooth, quiet, and comfortable. After 45 minutes of driving, the temp held at 185°F. This is a professional-quality restomod that drives like a new truck — reliable, fast, comfortable, and beautiful.
